Peyote Stitch Bracelet

I have finished my first beaded bracelet. I just finished it in a mad dash last night at about 12:45.
I had always liked beads and I collected them and put them in boxes always wanting to do something with them, but never really getting around to it. I did not know how to string them together.

I had bought this really cool beaded bracelet when we went to Mexico in a gift shop and my friend G to the Reggae liked it a lot. He wanted one so we looked all over to see if we could find one here that he could have and we did not find anything. So he decided that he had to make is own bracelet. Both of us got on the web and did a lot of research as to how to bead, what kind of stitches there are and materials. We learned a lot! This is a great site for a tutorial on how to do peyote stitch: http://www.suzannecooper.com/classroom/classmain.html

My favorite stitch is the peyote. It is one of the easiest to do and also easy for patterns to be worked into it. I use graph paper from a site I found: http://shala.addr.com/beads/resources/graphpaper/

I got my beads at a local bead shop that was located in the mall of all places, Wild Beads of Arlington Texas. I visit it quite regularly. Here is their info:
